Job summary

Hillsboro Post ACute in Hillsboro, OH seeks a Medical Records / Nursing Scheduler to keep our nursing department staffed, organized, and running smoothly. You will build schedules, cover shifts, coordinate call-offs, and work closely with nursing leadership to ensure adequate coverage.

This role requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Healthcare experience is preferred; STNA certification is a plus. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinker who can find staffing solutions when shifts need covered.
• Able to multitask and handle changing priorities.
• Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.
• STNA certification is a plus! Scheduling experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Build and create nursing schedules to ensure proper staffing and coverage.
• Ensure daily building PPD requirements are met.
• Get creative when it comes to covering open shifts and staffing challenges.
• Coordinate call-offs, shift changes, and open shifts.
• Work closely with nursing leadership and staff to maintain coverage.
• Think outside the box to find staffing solutions.
• Maintain accurate and organized medical records.
• Monitor daily staffing needs and make adjustments.
