Job summary

Brookestone View is seeking a highly organized Full-Time Nurse Scheduler (CNA/MA) to coordinate staffing for the nursing department, ensure adequate shift coverage, and support resident care in our community.

You'll work closely with nursing leadership, communicate scheduling needs, manage changes, maintain records, and help create a positive team environment where residents receive exceptional care. CNA/MA certification preferred; healthcare experience encouraged.

What You'll Do

As the Nurse Scheduler, you'll coordinate staffing schedules for the nursing department, ensuring appropriate coverage for each shift while supporting operational needs and resident care. You'll communicate regularly with nursing staff regarding scheduling needs, manage schedule changes, coordinate shift coverage, maintain staffing records, and assist with call-ins and open shifts. You'll work closely with nursing leadership to support staffing goals, maintain compliance with scheduling requirements, and help create a positive experience for both team members and residents. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills will be key to your success in this role.

What We're Looking For

• Current CNA and/or Medication Aide certification in Nebraska
• Previous healthcare or long-term care experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with scheduling systems preferred
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach
