NYC Health and Hospitals is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to coordinate and lead nursing-related projects across the system. The role focuses on improving patient care and experience, working with leadership and clinical teams to implement standards and policies.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Nursing Administration and relevant leadership experience, with strong organizational skills. The position is full-time at the New York, NY location with day shifts and a salary around

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in nursing administration or related field.
• 3 years of satisfactory nursing experience with 1 year in admin/supervisory role, or 4 years with 2 in clinical supervisory capacity.
• Valid New York State RN license and current registration.
• BLS may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage nursing project lifecycle.
• Provide overall nursing project/program management activities.
• Collaborate with leadership and medical staff to develop policies and standards.
• Plan and evaluate nursing services and health programs.
• Support budget and staffing models by tracking agency staff expenditure.
• Develop strategies to identify and retain nursing candidates.
• Prepare periodic reports on administrative matters.
• Monitor EMR systems for documentation gaps.
