NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx is seeking an experienced nurse administrator to lead administrative and supervisory activities across several departments in a busy hospital setting.

Under general supervision, directs staff, develops policies, prepares budgets, and participates in grant activities to support patient care and service delivery. Strong leadership in nursing administration is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State license and current RN registration.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration or related discipline; or Bachelor’s with 4+ years in admin.
• Experience in supervisory/administrative capacity in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support may be required and must be maintained.

Responsabilités

• Directs and supervises staff across related departments.
• Prepares operating plans, policies, programs and procedures.
• Analyzes adequacy and effectiveness of admin and support services and makes recommendations.
• Prepares data for budgets, reports and analyses.
• Represents healthcare administration in relevant functions and programs.
• Assists in grant proposals and in revenue/expenditure reporting.
• Attends staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.
