Job summary

AdventHealth in Maitland, FL is seeking an Education-focused Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to advance clinical inquiry, evidence-based practice and quality improvement across nursing teams.

You will design orientation programs, coordinate competency validation and coach new graduates, using simulations and education plans to grow staff expertise and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Serve as a resource for clinical inquiry and quality improvement initiatives.
Promote evidence-based practice through education and dissemination of findings.
Design, plan, implement, and coordinate orientation for new nursing staff using ANPD standards and the NPD Practice model.
Develop education plans for new graduates and experienced nurses, including competency validation with simulations.
Assist with preceptor programs and support educational activities to grow clinical skills and professional development.
