Job summary

Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies is seeking a Professional Development Practitioner (RN) to lead nursing education, coordinate orientation, and advance clinical practice across the Women’s Institute. You will partner with leaders to design evidence-based curricula and verification of competency using ANPD standards.

Applicants should hold a BSN, maintain Florida RN licensure, and complete required certifications within two years.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license required.
• National specialty certification in area of practice must be obtained within two years of hire.
• BLS/ALS/Neonatal resuscitation as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Conducts ongoing needs assessments and formulates educational plans based on data collected.
• Develops and coordinates orientation for assigned areas with leadership.
• Implements educational programs to enhance nursing staff competence and skills.
