Job summary

ProMedica Health System in Toledo, Ohio is seeking a Nursing Practice Specialist to advance the ongoing learning and professional development of nurses, with a strong emphasis on continuing education and competency.

You will present educational activities, teach and mentor clinicians, conduct research, and represent education in research, practice, and service. You will also serve as an Evidence-Based Practice mentor across ProMedica.

Qualifications

• Education: MSN degree required; DNP preferred.
• Skills: adult learning in healthcare; computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & SharePoint, EPIC EHR, Health Stream LMS; Six Sigma/Lean/Quality/PI and Evidence-Based Practice experience.
• Years of Experience: 3–5 years direct-patient care and 3–5 years educational experience preferred.
• License: RN license in OH and/or MI; ability to obtain in both states within 6 months.
• Certification: certification in specialized nursing practice within 1 year.
