Job summary

ProMedica Toledo Hospital seeks a Nursing Practice Specialist focused on ongoing nursing education, competency, and professional growth within the Center of Nursing Excellence. You will present educational activities emphasizing patient care and nursing development.

You will teach and mentor clinicians, conduct research, and serve as an EBP mentor to implement and sustain best practices across ProMedica in a per diem, variable-shift setting.

Qualifications

• Education: MSN degree required; DNP preferred.
• Must enroll in MSN degree program within two years and complete MSN within 5 years.
• Experience: 3–5 years direct patient care with 3–5 years educational experience.
• License: RN in OH and/or MI; able to obtain in both states within six months.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing nursing education and professional development.
• Teach and mentor clinicians, conduct educational research.
• Act as Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) mentor and implement EBP across ProMedica.
