Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Administration Leader for 7p-730a shifts at Lexington Medical Center. Responsibilities include ensuring continuity of care, coordinating staffing, and addressing daily operational and clinical issues with hospital leadership.

The role requires BSN or higher, 3+ years in acute care and 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience, with ACLS/PALS as needed within one year.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with BSN or higher.
• Three years of acute care nursing experience.
• Three years supervisory or leadership experience.
• Masters degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures administrative continuity to staff, patients, and families while liaising with hospital executives on call and care services management.
• Leads staffing decisions by coordinating with Nursing Management and Staffing Office.
• Analyzes resource utilization trends and recommends changes to Nursing leadership.
• Coordinates patient placement with Admitting, Bed Management, Clinics, and care areas; conducts daily debriefings including weekends/holidays.
