Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Manager to provide administrative leadership for nursing services in the Lexington area. The role requires a BSN with ACLS/PALS as applicable, and at least three years of acute-care and three years of supervisory experience.

You will oversee staffing, patient placement and quality initiatives, working across departments to maintain care standards. The position entails 7p-7:30a shifts with every third weekend and holiday rotations, reporting to the Nursing

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with state license required.
• ASAP advanced certifications may be required within one year.

Responsibilities

• Ensure administrative continuity for staff, patients and families.
• Lead nursing staffing decisions during assigned hours.
• Analyze resource utilization and suggest changes to leadership.
• Coordinate patient placement and conduct daily debriefings including weekends/holidays.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to resolve clinical/operational issues.
• Act as on-site liaison for hospital leadership after hours.
