Job summary

Lexington Health in Columbia, SC is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the adult acute care units. This full-time night shift role focuses on leadership, shift oversight, and staff mentorship to ensure timely admissions, transfers and discharges while maintaining high standards of patient care.

The position requires a BSN and 2 years of relevant nursing experience, with SC RN licensure or eligibility and potential certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BSN required or higher.
• 2 years of experience in areas of specialty within the past 5 years.
• Current SC RN license or eligible to practice in SC; specialty certification within 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational shift oversight and staff delegation.
• Facilitate timely patient admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Mentor and lead nursing staff; ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Coordinate through interdisciplinary teams to maintain patient safety and quality care.
• Oversee unit standards, performance improvement activities and infection control.
