Job summary

Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Health Center (BSFHC) seeks an experienced Nursing Manager to lead our outpatient clinic. The role focuses on clinical excellence, performance outcomes, and compassionate, high‑quality patient care.

Essential functions include supervising RNs, LPNs, and MAs; promoting teamwork; aligning staffing with patient needs; and advancing performance improvement initiatives across locations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with NYSED.
• 5+ years of professional nursing experience including EHR use.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership, problem-solving, and coaching abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of RNs, LPNs and MAs across locations.
• Collaborate with management to meet departmental goals.
• Uphold ANA standards of ethics and practice.
• Lead staff development and performance improvement initiatives.
• Manage training on EHR and required applications.
• Develop staffing plans and workforce strategies.
