Job summary

Lake Huron Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Manager of Med/Surg - Telemetry to provide 24/7 administrative oversight of nursing services. You will lead clinical teams, ensure patient care quality, and drive performance improvement in a busy unit.

Qualified candidates have RN licensure, BLS/ACLS on hire, and substantial supervisory depth in acute care settings. This role reports to the CNO/DON and requires collaborative leadership in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS (AHA) upon hire and must maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) upon hire and must maintain current.
• Minimum of two years supervisory/management experience.
• Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for all hires after 1/11/2021.

Responsibilities

• The Manager of Med/Surg - Telemetry is a Registered Nurse who assumes 24-hour administrative responsibility for the management of all nursing service functions within the Med/Surg - Telemetry departments.
• Supervises, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the delivery of patient care.
• Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with regulations.
• Supervises and evaluates all personnel assigned to the unit and communicates with staff, physicians and administration.
