Job summary

Lake Huron Medical Center in Michigan is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the Med Surg/Telemetry department to assist with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

The role requires a current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, BLS within 30 days, knowledge of medical terminology, and ideally six months’ experience in acute care settings. Day shifts with full-time status are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Maintain a safe environment under supervision of the RN.
• Support Med Surg/Telemetry team in patient care.
