Job summary

Rockingham County, NH is seeking a Nursing Manager to supervise nursing staff across units during the assigned shift and ensure high-quality care for residents. The role emphasizes leadership, rounds, and care coordination.

You will lead quality improvement efforts, participate in orientations and reviews, and ensure compliance with clinical standards. LPN license is required, RN preferred, with IV and CPR certifications and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid, unencumbered LPN license; RN license preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years full-time or equivalent experience in a Long Term/Acute Care setting with two (2) years in a management/supervisory role.
• IV certified and/or willing to become IV certified within six (6) months.
• CPR certified.
• Intermediate computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records systems.
• Good interpersonal relations with proven communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with Time and Attendance software systems is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing personnel on all units on the assigned shift.
• Provide physical and psychological support for residents/clients.
• Make rounds to ensure continuity of care and promptly identify changes in residents’ condition.
• Collaborate with staff regarding plan of care and participate in survey inspections.
• Participate in new employee orientations and quality improvement activities.
• Complete performance reviews for Unit Managers and medication pass reviews.
