Rockingham County, NH is seeking a Nursing Manager to supervise nursing personnel on all units during the 2nd shift, ensuring high-quality resident care. The role involves leadership, rounds, plan of care collaboration, and active participation in surveys and emergency responses.

You will lead orientations, complete unit manager reviews, and oversee medication pass checks, while maintaining strong communication with staff and residents to promote safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid, unencumbered LPN license; RN license preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years full-time or equivalent experience in a Long Term/Acute Care setting with a minimum of two (2) years in a management, supervisory or administrative capacity.
• IV certified and/or willing to become IV certified within six (6) months in position.
• CPR certified.
• Intermediate computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records systems.
• Good interpersonal relations with proven communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with Time and Attendance software systems is necessary.
• Must be able to cope with frequent interruptions and managing multiple, competing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel on all units during assigned shift.
• Provide physical and psychological support for residents/clients.
• Make rounds to ensure continuity of care and promptly identify changes in residents' condition.
• Ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available for staff.
• Attend new employee orientations and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Complete performance reviews for Unit Managers and medication pass reviews with staff.
• Observe and support staff regarding plan of care and participate in survey inspections.
• Respond to emergency situations and take appropriate action.
• Participate in mandatory meetings/educational programs.
