Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a full-time nurse administrator in Peoria, IL. The role focuses on supervising staff, delivering resident-centered care, and coordinating health services for seniors.

The position requires an LPN or RN license and prior management experience in long-term care, along with strong skills in assessments and care planning. Weekend Manager-On-Duty coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of management in care for seniors preferred.
• Strong background in patient care assessment and care planning.
• Experience in community or long-term care settings; meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, supervise and staff team members.
• Implement resident-centered care and nursing duties for residents.
• Perform health assessments and develop resident care plans; discuss changes with physicians.
• Administer medications and assist with resident care as needed.
• Coordinate admission processes with the multidisciplinary team; screen, assess and plan care.
• Occasionally cover as Manager-On-Duty on weekends.
