Job Title: Nurse Manager – Inpatient Services

Location: Brooklyn, NY 11212

Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension

Local Pay Range: $66 - $76/Hour

Travel Pay Range: $2800 to $3100/Week

Job Summary:

Responsible for day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the Inpatient Nursing Unit. Collaborate with the Director to ensure delivery of high-quality, regulatory-compliant patient care. Provides 24-hour operational oversight, manages staff, coordinates performance improvement, and ensures effective unit management.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) required
  • Minimum 2 years in a nursing leadership or managerial role
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical supervision and inpatient care management
  • Proven ability in team coordination, admission/discharge flow, and interdisciplinary collaboration

Skills:

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of CQI, Root Cause Analysis, and quality improvement models
  • Leadership and administrative skills, including budgeting and staffing
  • Proficient in electronic medical records and healthcare billing systems
  • Ability to respond to regulatory compliance demands and audits

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in nursing

Certifications & Licensure:

  • Required: Valid New York State RN License
  • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
