Cedar Lake Senior Living, part of Sonida Senior Living, is seeking an LPN/LVN to oversee nursing assistants and administer medications in our assisted living setting near Lake Zurich, IL. The role includes reporting, ensuring supplies, and coordinating with the nursing team.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, holds an LPN/LVN license, and maintains current licensure. Join our community dedicated to high-quality resident care and teamwork.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year experience required.
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN and maintain current, unencumbered licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants per facility rules and guidelines.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Prepare written and oral shift reports and recommendations.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications and equipment and report needs to nursing supervisor.
• Place pharmacy orders for prescriptions.
• Maintain patient charts and perform general office duties as required.

LPN/LVN Responsibilities Include

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required
