Job summary

Sonida Senior Living in Florida is seeking a licensed LPN/LVN to direct the day-to-day nursing assistant functions in our Assisted Living Facility. You will administer medications as ordered by physicians and ensure compliance with current regulations.

You will pull charts, prepare reports for your shift, and maintain adequate supplies and equipment. Effective communication with the nursing supervisor and pharmacy is essential to deliver safe resident care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
• Licensed LPN/LVN in good standing.
• Current, unencumbered licensure.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants per facility rules and guidelines.
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning your shift as required.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet nursing needs.
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions.
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required.

LPN/LVN Responsibilities
