Genesis HealthCare in Everett, WA offers a Director of Nursing in Training (DON-IT) program designed to develop clinical leaders through mentorship, hands-on resident care leadership, and project work in a skilled nursing environment.

You will rotate through clinical areas, gain experience in staffing, compliance, survey readiness, and teamwork, culminating in a capstone project presented to center or national leadership, with strong mentorship and structured growth throughout.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing. BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop nursing teams through mentorship and structured leadership development.
• Rotate through key clinical and operational areas to understand impact on quality outcomes and resident experience.
• Participate in projects to improve resident care, workforce engagement, and operational performance.
• Attend leadership meetings and development workshops to enhance communication and accountability.
