Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is launching a Director of Nursing in Training (DON-IT) program in our skilled nursing centers. You will participate in hands-on leadership experiences, mentorship from senior DONs and market leaders, and real-world projects that build clinical, regulatory, and operational skills.

Successful candidates will be RN-licensed, preferably with a BSN, and will rotate through key clinical areas to influence staffing, quality outcomes, and resident experience as they prepare for a DON

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure in the state.

Responsibilities

• Lead DON training and development through the Future Leaders Program.
• Develop clinical and operational expertise in DON responsibilities including staffing, survey readiness, and quality measures.
• Mentor and coach future Directors of Nursing and nursing leaders to drive resident care quality and engagement.
