Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University is seeking a Part-Time Instructor in Health Services Administration to teach a broad range of courses and contribute to the ongoing development of the program.

The incumbent will engage in activities such as advising students, identifying internship opportunities, developing course syllabi and the student handbook, and serving on academic or administrative committees. Keeping abreast of field developments through literature and conferences is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Health Care Management or related field.
• A minimum of two years full-time employment or equivalent in health care.
• Masters or Doctorate in the field degree with 1-3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level.

Responsibilities

• Teach a wide range of health services administration courses.
• Participate in program development including recruitment, internship opportunities, syllabi, student handbook and other documents.
• Develop course syllabi, student handbook and other relevant documents.
• Serve as an academic advisor and participate on academic or administrative committees.
• Stay current in the field by reading literature and participating in professional organizations and conferences.
