Job summary

The Willows at Okemos is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and overseeing the Nursing Service Department. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards under direction from senior leadership.

Responsibilities include coordinating the clinical team, staff development, and participating in QAPI activities to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license required and CPR certification.
• Associates or higher degree in Nursing as minimum education.
• Experience in nursing leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with DON to select, retain, and develop the nursing team.
• Assist in coordinating nursing and ancillary services with other leaders.
• Support QA/QI programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare for inspections and accreditation activities.
• Perform administrative duties and maintain charts and forms.
