Job summary

Willowbrook Rehabilitation and Care is seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. The RN candidate will lead clinical management, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality resident care within regulatory guidelines.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR, and a minimum of three years of nursing experience with at least one year in a management capacity. A commitment to compassionate care is essential.

Qualifications

• RN license in the United States required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience in a similar setting.
• At least one (1) year of management experience.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal nursing home regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management and staff.
• Participate in development and achievement of nursing department goals and educational programming.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards of practice per regulatory guidelines.
• Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff per staffing plans and state requirements.
• Collaborate with department heads to promote interdepartmental relations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor an accurate documentation system.
• Provide direct resident care when needed and interact effectively with residents and families.
• Drive innovative processes to improve care outcomes.
