Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license to practice in Florida.
• RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience with a similar resident population.
• Minimum of 1 year of management experience.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal facility regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management and clinicians, and other team members.
• Participate in development and achievement of nursing department goals and educational programming.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
• Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff per staffing plan and regulations.
• Collaborate with department heads to promote interdepartmental relations.
• Assist in developing and monitoring documentation systems.
• Provide direct resident care as staffing demands.
• Create and implement innovative ideas to improve systems and processes.
