Job summary

Macomb Community College seeks a Nursing Laboratory Services Coordinator to oversee and coordinate Nursing Laboratory operations for associate degree and LPN programs. The role requires Michigan RN licensure, a BSN, and at least five years of current medical-surgical experience.

The candidate will plan remedial approaches, coordinate lab hours, collaborate with the Nursing Program and faculty, and maintain utilization data.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Michigan.
Experience teaching or precepting is desirable.
Five years of current Med-Surgical experience in a health care facility.

Responsibilities

Coordinate Nursing Laboratory services for associate degree and licensed practical nursing faculty.
Plan and implement remedial approaches to student learning needs.
Coordinate lab hours with faculty and students to improve accessibility.
Collaborate with Nursing Program management regarding student success.
Maintain data collection and reports on lab utilization.
Foster a climate of learning and achievement for nursing students.
Advise faculty on remedial approaches and software programs.
Support Nursing Lab with community healthcare partners.
Collaborate with Human Patient Simulation and faculty on sim lab use.
Research updated technology for skills labs.
Coordinate with community agencies on simulation resources.
