Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking a Nursing Lab Specialist to support clinical skills education. You will prepare and reset nursing labs, coordinate sessions with faculty, and manage supplies and equipment to ensure smooth simulations for students.

You will operate simulators and debrief systems during exercises, troubleshoot issues, and maintain safety protocols. The role requires an associate degree in a healthcare field or related experience, strong organization, and solid communication

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with nursing lab equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assist, and reset nursing lab sessions to support student success.
• Coordinate instructional lab sessions with the Nursing Lab Manager and faculty.
• Maintain and purchase nursing lab supplies and equipment.
• Oversee updates, service, and replacement of lab equipment.
• Operate simulators and debrief systems during simulations and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Set up simulation and skills labs for effective sessions.
• Restock lab supplies and organize equipment.
• Deliver simulation scenarios in line with the academic plan.
