Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license with no encumbrance.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Manages the nursing on-campus lab, including setup and cleanup with faculty and students.
• Ensures lab equipment and manikins are in working order.
• Maintains safe lab environment by developing safety processes and procedures.
• Assists faculty with on-campus lab activities and evaluates student skills.
• Researches and evaluates vendors and supply costs; recommends pricing.
• Labels, records, and inventories lab equipment and supplies.
• Educates students and faculty on the nursing laboratory and equipment.
• Troubleshoots daily lab issues related to software, hardware, or manikins.
• Supervises nursing students in on-campus labs and tutors referred students to improve skills.
