Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Michigan seeks a Part-Time on-site Clinical Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at our Bingham Farms campus.

In this role you will instruct students in lab and clinical settings, foster a positive learning environment, and assess student progress. A BSN and RN licensure in Michigan with 3+ years of experience are required; BLS CPR is also needed. The schedule is up to 24 hours/week with occasional Saturday pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Three or more years full-time work experience as a RN (or part-time equivalent).
• Active State of MI RN licensure that has never been encumbered.
• Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in a lab setting or off campus in a clinical setting as needed.
• Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
• Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
• Supervise and orient students to the clinical site and to all applicable policies and procedures.
• Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing feedback.
• Participate in the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
