Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a full-time Vocational Nursing Instructor to join our team. The position involves teaching at multiple clinical sites, combining lecture and clinical rotations, and staying current with licensing and CE requirements.

You will monitor attendance, grades, and skill check-offs while updating records and ensuring safety regulations are followed. The role requires CA RN or LVN licensure, a nursing degree (ADN or BSN), and several years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with CA licensure.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing; ADN or BSN per state regulations.
• 3 years nursing with BSN or 6 years with ADN; ability to mentor students.

Responsibilities

• Improve instruction quality using diverse teaching methods.
• Utilize online activities to enhance course content.
• Review and revise syllabus; submit program reports timely.
• Maintain student records and clinical requirements; immunizations.
