Requirements include CA RN/LVN license, ASN/BSN, ATI certification within 60 days, and current immunizations with BLS. Hours vary, with days/evenings/weekends possible.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN with CA licensure.
• ASN/BSN per state requirements.
• Meets Board of Vocational Nursing faculty requirements.
• 3+ yrs with BSN or 6+ yrs with ADN.
• Strong clinical knowledge and teaching ability.
• Current immunizations and BLS.
• Must obtain ATI Certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Visit clinical sites and teach both lectures and clinical rotations.
• Review and revise syllabi as needed.
• Demonstrate or acquire online teaching techniques.
• Submit program reports to the Director on time.
• Maintain student records and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Assist with immunizations and clinical requirements for students.
• Teach at varied times and locations to meet program needs.
• Participate in professional development and committees.
