Unitek Learning is seeking a Vocational Nursing Instructor for a full-time day position at our California campus. The role requires a valid nursing license and several years of nursing experience with coursework in nursing education.

Qualifications

Valid Vocational Nursing License or RN License.
Minimum of 3 years nursing experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR minimum of 6 years nursing experience with an Associate Degree.
Demonstrate or willing to acquire skills for utilizing online activities to enhance course content.
Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different methodologies.
Submit required program reports and forms to Director of the program in a timely manner.
Keep current with new technologies and safety regulations.
Maintain student records of attendance, grades, and skill check-off forms; assist with program data collection.
Teach courses at varying times and locations; include days, evenings, weekends.
Participate in professional development and maintain CE hours to renew licensure.
Actively participate in committees as assigned.

Responsibilities

Teach courses at a variety of times and locations in response to program needs.
Instruct both lecture content and clinical rotations (clinical rotations may be days or evenings, on weekdays or weekends).
Assist with updating and maintaining student files related to clinical requirements, immunizations, and educational requirements.
Submit required program reports to the Director of the program in a timely manner.
Stay current with new technologies and safety regulations; maintain records of attendance and grades.
