Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will guide LPN/PN and RN students, assess progress, and foster professional growth.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher, an active RN license, and at least 3 years of RN practice, with strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with faculty and clinical sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level nursing degree required (BSN or higher).
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to taught courses and clinicals.
• Demonstrated knowledge contributing to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Deliver clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a positive learning environment to support academic growth.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competency.
• Prepare progress and grade reports and maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and clinical partners.
