Job summary

The instructor provides classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical experiences, fostering a supportive learning environment and guiding students toward professional nursing practice.

Requirements include a BSN or higher, an active RN license, and a minimum of 3 years of recent nursing practice. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher required and RN licensed with no active restrictions
• Minimum 3 years of recent professional RN experience
• Clinical experience relevant to taught courses and clinical experiences
• Demonstrated knowledge in a nursing specialty contributing to student learning

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to nursing students
• Supervise students in clinical settings and promote safe nursing practice
• Evaluate student performance and competency per program standards
• Prepare timely progress and grade reports; maintain attendance records
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to support student achievement
