Job summary

The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse with an MSN or higher, possesses a current RN license in the state, and has at least 3 years of clinical experience. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a nursing specialty that contributes to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student growth.
• Deliver instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program standards.
• Prepare accurate student progress and grade reports.
• Maintain accurate attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners.
