Job summary

SJH is seeking an Informatics leader to oversee the planning, design, and implementation of business and clinical information systems. The role includes directing the Informatics team, ensuring system performance, and aligning IT with clinical practice standards to support safe patient care.

You will coordinate with clinical staff to optimize workflows, educate physicians on new processes, and participate in performance improvement initiatives while maintaining on-site presence at SJH.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Wyoming.
• Associate degree minimum; Bachelor's or Master's preferred in nursing or clinical sciences.
• Experience with electronic health record implementation and informatics background.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to manage staff and projects.

Responsibilities

• Support and direct use of EMR software across clinical settings.
• Evaluate workflows and documentation; implement changes to improve patient care documentation.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to meet goals with patient safety as a priority.
• Educate physicians on new processes and consult on workflow issues; mentor staff.
• Develop policies and procedures to guide IT services and ensure compliance.
