Job summary

Rutherford Regional Health System, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN), Clinical Informatics to bridge clinical practice and technology. You will lead system implementations, educate staff, and drive changes to improve patient safety, quality, and efficiency.

Collaborate with nurse leaders and interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflows, analyze data, and support ongoing informatics initiatives across the organization in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Experience with clinical information system implementations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience with organizational change management and workflow optimization.
• Strong understanding of integration of technology into clinical practice.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assess clinical workflows and system requirements to improve patient care, safety, and efficiency.
• Partner with nurse leaders and clinicians to optimize workflows and ensure safe technology use.
• Lead and support clinical information system implementations and enhancements across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and deliver orientation, education, and training programs for staff on clinical systems.
• Facilitate change readiness and stakeholder engagement for new technologies and processes.
• Serve as a clinical informatics consultant and mentor for staff and leadership.
• Evaluate technology and workflows to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
