Job summary

Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to lead nursing informatics initiatives, optimize data flow, and ensure safe, effective use of technology in patient care.

You will collaborate with nursing, clinical engineering, and information services, provide end-user training, evaluate new systems, and support project planning and implementation across units to improve care quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Experience in nursing informatics preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and optimize nursing informatics projects.
• Collaborate with clinical department directors, nurse managers, physicians and other staff on project evaluation.
• Provide end-user education and training for new systems and workflows.
• Coordinate project objectives, resources, and evaluation strategies.
• Support daily system operations and ensure data quality and patient safety.
