Trinity Health is seeking a part-time House Supervisor to provide patient care coordination and act as the on-site nursing leadership representative during off shifts and weekends. You will mentor staff across Med/Surg, OB, SCU, ER, and OR, coordinating clinical care to ensure continuity and safety.

Qualifications

• BSN (or other bachelor’s degree) or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Two years clinical experience as RN staff nurse preferred.
• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse from the State of Iowa.
• Able to maintain basic nursing competency in Med/Surg, ER, OB, SCU and to interpret telemetry.
• Maintains BCLS and ACLS, attains PALS within 6 months, and TNCC and NRP within 1 year.
• Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English.

• Coordinates clinical care and ensures continuity of patient care.
• Serves as liaison between nursing and physicians when necessary.
• Participates collaboratively with department director in evaluating staff performance.
• Demonstrates proficiency in electronic documentation.
• Holds staff accountable to organizational values, standards of practice and behavior.
• Addresses formal complaints in a timely manner with a focus on service recovery.
• Supports department directors and actively engages in quality assessment and performance improvement.
• Attends leadership and other appropriate organizational meetings.
