Job summary

Skiff Medical Center is seeking a Part-time House Supervisor to provide 24-hour clinical coordination and on-site nursing leadership during off shifts and weekends. You will mentor staff, coordinate care across Med/Surg, OB, SCU, ER, and OR, and collaborate with department directors and the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure continuity of patient care.

The role requires BSN or higher degree, Iowa RN license, and current BCLS/ACLS with PALS within 6 months, TNCC and NRP within 1 year.

Qualifications

Two years clinical RN experience preferred.
Experience in Med/Surg, ER, SCU and OB preferred.
Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English.
Maintains BCLS and ACLS; PALS within 6 months; TNCC and NRP within 1 year.

Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour clinical coordination and on-site nursing leadership during off shifts and weekends.
Mentor and provide feedback to nursing staff across Med/Surg, OB, SCU, ER, and OR.
Coordinate clinical care and ensure continuity of patient care with department directors and CNO.
Participate in evaluating staff performance and quality improvement initiatives.
Manage resources and staffing decisions on a shift-by-shift basis.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold organizational values in all interactions.
