Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Davenport is seeking a Nursing House Supervisor for an evening shift. This role offers 32 hours per week with evening hours (15:30–23:30) and every other weekend 07:00–19:30, plus holiday rotation.

The supervisor ensures safe, evidence-based patient care and supports leadership development within a mission-driven health system. Ideal candidates will have an Iowa RN license, nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS readiness within specified timelines, with a preference for specialty

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current Iowa RN license at time of hire.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter training for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse within six months.
• Specialty practice certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing leadership in the MercyOne Genesis Davenport unit.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve safety and patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
