Job summary

Fountains at Mill Cove is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide for Nursing Home to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. The role focuses on meeting residents’ nutritional needs and providing compassionate service in a caring environment.

You will assist with food prep, serving, and sanitation, monitor resident diets, and work with the dietary team to plan meals while maintaining a clean kitchen and upholding safety standards. Prior experience is preferred, and a fast-paced setting is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, serving, and sanitation in accordance with dietary standards and regulations.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of resident diets, food intake, and special requests.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare meals, including Bulk Tray Preparation, serving, and presenting food.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a respectful and courteous manner.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the resident experience.
