Job summary

Good Shepherd is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead a long-term care facility in Eastern Nebraska. This on-site role focuses on clinical oversight, regulatory compliance, and high-quality resident-centered care.

You will guide department directors and drive operational performance. The ideal candidate holds an active NHA license (Nebraska preferred) with proven leadership, strong CMS/regulatory knowledge, and a track record of improving care quality and survey readiness.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Home Administrator license required (Nebraska preferred).
• Leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, licensing, and survey readiness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations as Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA).
• Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local rules.
• Lead, mentor, and support department directors and management staff.
• Foster a culture of quality care, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, census development, financial performance, and operations.
• Maintain survey readiness and act as liaison with regulatory agencies.
• Build relationships with residents, families, physicians, hospitals, and community partners.
• Develop and implement policies to improve resident outcomes and efficiency.
• Promote resident rights, safety, satisfaction, and customer service.
