Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a qualified Nursing Home Administrator to lead a post-acute care facility in Indianapolis. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain patient rights and safety, and manage day-to-day operations with a focus on quality care and efficient resource use.

The role requires an active administrator license or eligibility, a bachelor's degree, and several years of post-acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active state license in good standing as a Nursing Home Administrator or eligible to sit for exam after AIT Training.
• Three (3) or more years' post acute care experience preferred.
• Certification with American College preferred (ACHCA).

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret financial records and reports.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledgeable of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities.
• Implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
• Perform proficiently in all competency areas including patient rights, safety and sanitation.
• Maintain professional relationships with associates, vendors, etc.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
• Demonstrate integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completing mandatory compliance training.
