Job summary
Bowie State University in Maryland seeks two JR102012 Assistant/Associate Professor positions in Special Populations Nursing to teach in Maternity, Pediatrics, and/or Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, with an emphasis on clinical teaching and scholarly activity.
Faculty contribute to committee work, curriculum development, research publications, and student mentorship, while supporting tenure and promotion processes and service to the department and university.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing required.
- Doctorate in Nursing or related area.
- Expertise in Maternity, Pediatrics, and/or Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
- Strong preference for didactic teaching experience at the collegiate level.
- Clinical expertise and ability to assess student learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Teach in classroom and clinical settings.
- Engage in research and publications for tenure and promotion.
- Contribute to curriculum development and department/college activities.
