  • Current or eligible for an unencumbered license to practice nursing in Maryland, Washington, DC, or a compact state.
  • Evidence of active scholarship and service at the program, department and university levels preferred.

They will share responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions for the good of the institution.**Responsibilities:*** Nursing faculty teach in the classroom and conduct clinical teaching.* Research and publications are expected for tenure and promotion.* Other areas of responsibility include curriculum development; participate in departmental and college-wide activities and committees, such as, grant writing, assessment, faculty development, mentoring student projects, and academic advisement.**Minimum Qualifications:*** Master's Degree in Nursing required.
