Job summary

Unitek Learning in Provo, UT is seeking a qualified nursing faculty member to advance student learning in both theory and clinical settings. You will collaborate with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade exams, supervise clinical experiences, and promote evidence-based nursing education.

The role requires an active RN license, a Master of Nursing or higher, and at least four years of direct patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Master of Nursing or higher with relevant coursework.
• At least four years of direct patient care experience.
• Clinical teaching experience within last five years.
• Expertise in one of nursing areas: Psychiatric, Geriatrics, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, OB-Gyn, Mental Health.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade examinations.
• Ensure class attendance and grades are recorded and submitted.
• Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives.
• Plan and supervise orientation of new faculty in theory and clinical facilities.
• Utilize teaching principles for adult learners in clinical settings.
• Demonstrate ability to use online activities to supplement instruction.
• Maintain student records and assist with program data collection.
