Job summary

Unitek EMT is seeking an experienced nursing faculty member to join its broader Unitek Learning nursing program in Murray, UT. The instructor will collaborate with colleagues to deliver theory and clinical instruction, mentor students, and contribute to program quality and outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license in the teaching state, a BSN, and preferred MSN status or enrollment within five years. Candidates must meet nursing faculty requirements and stay current with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with current licensure in the state where you will teach.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• BSN is required; Master’s in nursing preferred or enrolled in an MSN program within 5 years of start date.
• Able to meet faculty requirements set by the Board of Nursing.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor students in classroom, laboratory and clinical settings; strong communication skills.
• Current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with instructors in preparing, administering, and grading examinations for the course.
• Responsible for ensuring class attendance and grades are kept and submitted.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in assigned health care facilities.
• Provide feedback of clinical performance immediately after observation.
• Maintain student records of attendance and skills check-off forms; assist with program data collection.
• Submit required program reports and forms to the Director of the program in a timely manner.
• Keeps current with new technologies and safety regulations.
