Job summary

Empower Healthcare Management LLC's Needville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center seeks a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator in Needville, TX to lead daily operations and ensure high-quality resident care.

You will work with management and consultants, monitor compliance, manage budgets, and develop marketing strategies to improve census and revenues. Requirements: TX license, 2 years LTC admin experience, bachelor's degree or equivalent, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator license in good standing in Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Administrator in long-term care.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education to meet licensure requirements.
• Completion of continuing education hours as required by the State.
• Ability to relate positively to residents, families, and regulators and work cooperatively with staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan all aspects of facility operations with management staff and consultants, including setting priorities and assignments.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care and facility operations, and address resident needs.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and QA requirements; participate in surveys and implement actions.
• Manage human resources practices, staffing, recruitment, evaluations, and staff development to maintain morale and retention.
• Oversee budgeting and financial practices, including payroll, payables, and receivables; monitor sound business practices.
• Develop and implement a marketing strategy to maximize census, payer mix, and ancillary revenues; lead staff in executing the plan.
• Build positive relationships with government regulators, families, and the community.
